Icicle Pansies

These pansies are selected for their ability to overwinter when planted in the fall. Bred for cold climates, this tough new breed of pansy flowers is guaranteed to survive the harshest winters, wherever they are sold. Planted in late summer or early fall and you will enjoy blooms until the snow flies and again in early spring.

Icicle pansies are a new breed of pansies and violas developed in Canada and guaranteed to survive northern winters. Icicle pansies have abundant blooms on short, sturdy stems and flowers come in many beautiful colors and mixes.

Icicle violas and pansies are easy to grow. When proper care instructions are followed, they are guaranteed to bloom the following spring when planted in the late summer or early fall. You need to plant icicle pansies plants in locations with 6 to 12 hours of sunlight per day and from 6 to 8 inches (15 - 20 cm) apart. Use fertile, well-drained soil. Water, and apply all purpose fertilizer at planting time. Fertilize again in spring. Water as needed during fall and spring.
